As an educator - or retired educator - insured through the Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan (OTIP), CUPE Education Workers Benefit Trust (EWBT), or the Retired Teachers Insurance Plan (RTIP),* you have access to mental health benefits that include psychotherapy with a Registered Psychotherapist.

This retreat is thoughtfully designed to support your emotional well-being, reduce stress, and promote overall mental wellness — all of which qualify under OTIP's, EWBT’s, or RTIPs* extended health coverage.

💸 How It Works

• On a bi-weekly basis, you will be invoiced: $167 by Thrive Canada, referencing a group program led by Helen Scott, RP (CRPO #18813, qualifying)

This invoice is fully reimbursable through your OTIP/ EWBT/ RTIP plan as a mental health service. Many teachers receive their reimbursement within 1 week of submission.

You will receive a formal invoice from:

Helen Scott, RP (Qualifying)
Registered Psychotherapist
College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario #18813
Includes: Service date, provider details, amount, and session description

This meets the requirements of your extended health benefits plans, including OTIP, EWTB, RTIP.

🧾 Submitting Your Claim

You can submit your invoice:

• Through the OTIP/EWBT/ RTIP online portal

• Or by mailing it with your claim form

Tip: Ontario teacher’s and education workers’ plans offer $1000+ per year for psychotherapy services.
