Feeling drained at the end of the school year?
We get it. Teaching takes everything you’ve got. And when the year ends, you’re left exhausted physically, mentally, and emotionally.
You’ve poured into your classroom all year. Now it’s time to pour back into yourself.
This retreat was made for you, the educator who needs a real reset before life speeds up again.
What you’ll experience at the retreat
✔️ A guided reflection session with a licensed therapist (covered by OTIP)
✔️ Restorative yoga and gentle breathwork
✔️ Nourishing, locally prepared food and beverages
✔️ Connection with other women educators
✔️ Reflective journaling + guided intention setting
✔️ All taking place in a breathtaking setting in the hills of Kawartha Lakes. Following the session, we invite you to linger—whether for peaceful reflection, heartfelt conversation, or simply to soak in the beauty of the natural surroundings
Meet Helen Scott
Assistant Professor, University of Toronto
Licensed Psychotherapist (qual)
Founder of Thrive Canada
Helen has spent over two decades as an epidemiologist and assistant professor at the University of Toronto’s Dalla Lana School of Public Health studying women’s health. Now, she works directly with educators to support them to reconnect with their emotional, physical, and mental health through evidence-based therapy and holistic wellness practices. As a therapist specializing in educator burnout and nervous system regulation, she understands the real emotional toll of teaching and the courage it takes to slow down.
She walks alongside women who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or numb from the demands of daily life. Her gift is creating safe, compassionate spaces for healing and reconnection.
This retreat is an invitation to begin that process: gently, intentionally, and in good company.
